I feel a little lost...

I have no idea why, but all day I didn't know what to do with myself. It was like something was missing. Whatever it is, I need to get out of this funk, because school starts today.

Maybe I need to read a book or do some drawings. Or I could distract myself with gaming or see a movie in the theatres [Twilight?]. I do have some sewing projects I could start working on...

Or maybe--just maybe--I need to spend a little time thinking about my characters but outside the book. Perhaps complete withdrawal is a bit too much.

Sigh...

Hiatus was a bad idea...

...because it made me lose my momentum.

So I need to spend a large portion of today and tomorrow getting back into the swing of things and figuring stuff out. I will not abandon this story--I've devoted too much time to it already.

So the things I need to write about:

1. The history of the war / past war snippets
2. The history of the Northern and Southern Ataryn nation
3. Character blurbs / facts
4. Kole's plan
5. Devii's counter plan

So I'm going to do some stream of consciousness writing to hopefully get me back in the game. I just need to write to finish the story...then I can take a break and write about anything I want.

Let the mantra begin: I must finish this novel...I must finish this novel...

Holiday Hiatus

This have been getting busy...so I haven't written anything since Tuesday.

I've been busy with shopping, boyfriend, etc. So much to do before the holiday is over.
Hopefully I'll be able to write some more before Xmas...we'll see.

But the lack of writing has given me time to figure out some upcoming character things, namely Kole.

I've decided Kole is a scientist type thinker. He has a great desire to explore and understand magic. He believes that what he is doing will benefit others. His actions are meant to help others, although some sacrifices must be made. To many the sacrifices might be seen as horrible...but he rationalizes it.

Yeah...still haven't figured out what he wants with the stone yet.
I'll think on it some more.

So where are the characters as of Tuesday
They've escaped and they're on the boat to Dunoth. Othena is hatching another plan and Eovin is wishing the kids luck as he heads back to his normal life in Pembrin. Or will it ever be normal again?
