I have not written anything today, because I was too busy with my internship and school. On top of that I'm incredibly exhausted and need some sleep.
So where do I stand?
Last time I wrote [Tuesday] I had 111,176.
Olivia has me with Oliver the impostor again. He wasn't very nice and gave her an ultimatum: leave or he'll turn her in.
So yeah...nice dilemma.

Not exactly.
The typical goal of NaNoWriMo is 50,000 words in 30 days. So it can be about speed, especially if you want to write more than 50k.
So you are racing to get to 50k, but not everyone's novel is that short. Mine is likely 3 times that length.
Since I didn't finish my story once the 30 days were over, I'm participating in NaNoFiMo. National Novel Finishing Month is another 30 days, but without a set number of words. So I'm pretty much just racing the clock to finish before the year ends.
